A4470 .Ensign advertisements state that the Autorange 220 will be ready in June of 1937. The lens range was extensive from an f4.5 Ensar in a Prontor to an f2.8 Tessar in a Compur Rapid. Early advertisements show a camera without a body-release. The camera was re-introduced directly after the war fitted with the new Epsilon shutter.
